FRANKLIN FURNACE — The night belonged to Dawson Blevins, Austin Bailey, Tyler Imes, Trevor Carver and Tyler Darnell.
All five seniors played a role in the Green Bobcats 13-0 Southern Ohio Conference win over the Western Indians on Wednesday.
It marked the fourth straight senior class that has had a winning record.
“All five seniors played the whole game and all five contributed. It was a nice night for them,” said Green coach Dan McDavid.
Carver got the pitching win as he pitched a two-hitter, struck out seven and did not walk a batter.
Green (16-3, 11-0) used eight hits, seven walks, a hit batsman and five errors to generate their 13 runs.
Green got three runs in the first.
Tanner Kimbler singled, stole second and scored on a hit by Darnell. After a steal, Darnell scored on two wild pitches.
Trevor Carver doubled and came around on two wild pitches.
The Bobcats made it 5-0 in the second when Blevins walked, stole second, took third on an error and scored on a wild pitch. Darnell then walked and scored on a double by Tayte Carver.
Green put the game away with eight runs in the third.
Hayden Whittis had an infield hit, stole second and scored on a hit by Imes.
Blevins walked and Bailey doubled for a run. Kimbler and Darnell walked for a run, Tayte Carver was safe on a fielder’s choice as the run scored, Trevor Carver hit a sacrifice fly, Bryce Ponn got an infield hit for an RIB.
Whittis walked to load the bases and Imes was hit by a pitch to score the final run.
The teams meet again on Friday at Western.
