The St. Joseph Female Flyers played host to the Tolsia Lady Rebels on Monday and were very rude to their guests.
Scoring early and often, the Female Flyers rolled in a doubleheader as they won 15-0 and 16-4 over the visitors.
In the first game, Alex Holtzapfel quieted the Rebel bats as she struck out seven and allowed just one hit.
Shortstop Morgan Turner scored three runs and stole three bases to jump start the offense as the Female Flyers bolted to a 9-0 lead after one inning.
Kelsey Malone continued her hot-hitting as she went 2-2 including her first home run of the season — a grand slam in a six-run second inning.
In the second game, St. Joseph started slow but erupted for 11 runs in the second inning to break the game wide-open.
Turner, Holtzapfel, Faith Mahlmeister, Karly Young and Jenna Rawlins all contributed hits to pace the Female Flyers.
Turner also had three RBI in the win to back the pitching of Malone who notched her third win of the season as she struck out four and scattered four hits.
