Open your heart to Jesus

Today as I study the Word of God these thoughts came to mind that need to be shared with the people. There are so many “religions” of the world, however there is only ONE that has a “savior who died for us” and thats Jesus Christ.

No other can make the claim that theirs died and rose again for their sins.

Yes there are those who worship animals, pictures, men, women, and objects, however none of them “shed his blood for their sins.” The only one that did that and arose from the grave was our savior Jesus Christ.

Even at his birth this was proclaimed in Luke 2:10-11 “And the angel said unto them, fear not for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord,” and in Luke 3:21-22 “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heavens was opened.

And the Holy Ghost decended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son, in thee I am well pleased. This was said again from heaven in Matthew 17:1-5 in which God spoke himself of Jesus Christ.

In no other book printed is it said that a savior was born, only in the Bible, and it is confirmed by many passages of scripture found in the New Testiment in which he preaches by his own words what God the Father told him to say, to which I’ll try to share just a few that tells you that without him you will surely perish.

We are told that in order to be saved you must first “hear the Word” then recognize that you are lost, then “repent of your sins” and ask Jesus to save you from your sins, and believe in your heart that he has. This is salvation the way God planned from the beginning, not man’s way.

Jesus himself said in John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father whitch hath sent me draw him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (When you hear the Word, are convicted of your sins, repent, then he will draw you). He further says in John 14-6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”

Throughout the New Testiment we are told to love our enemies, not to kill them, to teach the truth unto them, and to “preach the word of truth unto them that they might be drawn to the truth.”

Again as I question the faith of others who don’t believe Jesus and will completely reject him, in your own religion, who died for your sins? Who arose again to justify you for this life? And who are you relying on to have you stand in the presence of God and give account of your life?

I myself rely solely on the shed blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Please look at your “religion” and see if there is a savior there, there is no other than in Jesus Christ, the son of God. This is written to open your eyes to the truth and hope that is only in God’s only begotten son Jesus Christ the Lord, who is coming back soon for his people and only those who have “recieved him as their personal savior” I hope you will be in  that number.
