Possession of controlled substance, warrants for arrest, disorderly conduct — Township Road 510 N., South Point, Sept. 3, deputy responding to call of male subject walking down the road and falling down several times; subject allegedly had slurred speech and was unbalanced; had a warrant for arrest; 16 wrapped packages of Suboxone allegedly found in subject’s wallet; no prescription found; Zachary Winters, 25, of 301 Third St. E., South Point, arrested.
Breaking and entering — 200 block County Road 403 W., Proctorville, Sept. 5, copper piping stolen form vacant house; woman named nephew as suspect; man allegedly admitted to sleeping in the house but said he did not take the pipes; Derek Fuller, 28, of Proctorville, arrested.
Abduction, failure to comply with order of police officer — 200 block Township Road 1031, South Point, Sept. 8, deputy allegedly observed suspect run and stop sign; when deputy was in pursuit, driver allegedly would not stop, ran another stop sign and was driving at a high rate of speed through a residential neighborhood; once the car was stopped, driver was placed in cruiser; two adult passengers both said they asked the driver to stop the car and feared for their lives; child was also in the car; Larry Graham, 18, of 4982 Rear Pleasant View Drive, Huntington, arrested.
Domestic violence, warrants for arrest — A private drive off Township Road 508, South Point, Sept. 10, woman alleged husband hit her about five times in the head; Richard Blevins, 27, of South Point, arrested.
Domestic violence — 1100 block County Road 1, South Point, Sept. 11, woman alleged ex-boyfriend, whom she lives with, pushed her against a wall; William Weaver, 58, of the same address, arrested.
Domestic violence — 800 block State Route 373, Pedro, Sept. 11, woman allegedly flipped end table resulting in a cut to victim’s arm; Michelle Miller-Ellis, 41, of the same address, arrested.
Criminal damaging, theft — 1000 block Township Road 172, Proctorville, Sept. 10, woman reported someone breaking into her van; lock forced open and wire stolen from van.
Burglary — A private road off County Road 1, South Point, Sept. 11, lock to house damaged; nothing appears to have been stolen.
Theft — A private drive off County Road 1, South Point, Sept. 8, iPhone taken from front stoop.
Criminal simulation — 100 block Township Road 337, Kitts Hill, Sept. 8, man reported two counterfeit $20 bills.
Burglary — 8600 block County Road 107, Proctorville, Proctorville, Sept. 6, grinder and framing nailer taken from residence; suspects named.
Burglary — 3200 block State Route 775, Proctorville, Sept. 6, TV, Playstation and purse taken from residence.
