The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a man who went missing nearly a month ago.

Sheriff Jeff Lawless said the office is continuing to follow up on leads and has conducted at least four searches with all-terrain vehicles but there still have been no sightings of Chris Haas.

Haas, 37, of County Road 73, was last seen at 4:30 p.m. July 15 at the R&R Grocery on Greasy Ridge. The man’s car was found abandoned July 16 at Johns Creek.

Surveillance video taken from the grocery store shoe Haas wearing camouflage shorts, no shirt and flip-flops. Hass is 5-foot-11 with brown hair and hazel eyes. He weighs 185 and wears glasses.
