ICC Ladies 9-Hole holds final meeting

PINE GROVE — The final meeting for the Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club was held with its golf day consisting of breakfast, golf with guests, and the potluck luncheon.

Special events for the day were won by Betty and Lonnie Fraley, Jim and Cecilia Woods, Ernie and Johnna Jones, Sharon Fox, and Nancy Livingston.

Also being announced were the end of the season ladies golf event winners that included: Georgia Willis, first place Handicap Tournament; Nancy Livingston, second place Handicap Tournament; Jane Mains, first place Ringer Tournament and the Par Tree; Joyce Lewis, Kathy Fraley, and Pat Lambert, second place in the Par Tree; Johnna Jones most improved.

Additional event winners for the year for weekly winners drawn were Sharon Fox, Joyce fields, Jamie Dyer, Jane Mains, Betty Fraley, Joyce Lewis, as well as Rose Auble and Nancy Livingston two-time winners.

Other members and guests attending the day’s festivities were: Carlos Willis, Ralph Lewis, max Fraley, Doug Lambert, Jerry fields, Wanda and Harold Spears, Tom Pinkerman, Pat and Jim Riggs, Midge Payne, and Doris Roberts.

End of the Year officer gifts were presented by Pat Riggs to chairman Georgia Willis, vice chairman Livingston, secretary Joyce Lewis, treasurer Johnna Jones, and committee chairmen Lambert, Cecilia Woods, Fields, Betty Fraley, and Pat Riggs.

The group announced its annual Christmas party will be at Bellefonte Country Club at 11 a.m. Dec. 7. Lady members will continue to golf at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings — weather permitting.
