What a difference a day makes. And two days can be even more unbelievable.

Two days ago at home Green beat Western 50-39 in a game the Lady Bobcats led by as many as 30 points.

But on Thursday night, Green shot 15-of-75 from the field for a meager 20 percent in a 41-35 Southern Ohio Conference loss to the same Lady Indians.

“I expected a letdown, but we just shot the ball poorly,” said Green coach Dale Royse. “But give credit to Western. They came ready to play and we didn’t.”

Adrianne Blankenship scored 11 points to go with 17 rebounds, three assists and four steals for Green (9-6, 7-4). Abbey Barrett had 14 rebounds.
