KDMC doing free health screenings

SUMMIT, Ky. — To help celebrate National Nutrition Month, Boyd County Public Library and King’s Daughters Medical Center are partnering to offer free health screenings, and valuable information on how to eat right and live a healthier life.
The Healthy Saturday event is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 21, at the branch, 1016 Summit Road, across from Boyd County Middle School.
KDMC will provide free health screenings, including cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar. Hospital staff will also have information and advice on nutrition and other health-related topics.
The next Healthy Saturday program at Summit will be May 16.
