Theft — State Route 141 and U.S. 52 Thursday, items taken from construction site.

Breaking and entering — 500 block Vesuvius Street Thursday, residence entered.

Theft — 1200 block South Eighth Street Thursday, solar lights taken from yard.

Attempted breaking and entering — Second and Means streets Thursday, backyard fence damaged.

Theft — 800 block Vine Street Thursday, barrel taken from yard.

Theft — 1700 block South Sixth Street Thursday, tools taken.

Burglary — County Road 210, Waterloo Wednesday, tools, heater taken from residence.

Theft — Township Road 1525, Proctorville Wednesday, purse taken from residence.

Theft — County Road 31, Chesapeake Thursday, four large truck batteries taken from residence, suspects named, located, Paul L. Walker, Jr., 20, 715 Marion Pike, Coal Grove, charged with theft, criminal trespass, contributing to the unruliness of a minor and taken to jail, 17-year-old male juvenile charged with theft, drug possession, criminal trespass.

Domestic — Perry Township Wednesday, woman reportedly shoved, elbowed, threatened with gun, William L. Copley, 42, 122 Township Road 510 N, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Assault — Township Road 1026, South Point Wednesday, woman reportedly assaulted during dispute over bicycle, Patricia D. White, 28, 15 Township Road 186, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.
