April 10, 1955–April 4, 2025

Patricia Ann (Runyan) Hackworth, 69, of Ironton, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Ohio State Hospital in Columbus.

She was born in Ironton, on April 10, 1955 to her late parents, Robert Runyan and Veronica “Tyne” (Compliment) Runyan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David “Rick” Hackworth.

Pat was a 1974 graduate of St. Joe High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, both of Ironton.

She enjoyed going to Bingo and taking care of her family and grandkids.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Gary Runyan and brother-in-law, Dwayne Harvey.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Nanci Christine Diller (Keith), of Wheelersburg, John David Hackworth (Branden Sutton), of Towanda, Illinois, Betti Nicole “Pooch” Goody (Jerry), of Coal Grove, her grandchildren; Maggie Hackworth, of Ironton, Andy Hackworth, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Amaila Diller, of Wheelersburg, Chase Mullins of Ironton, Everleigh Bartrum, of Ironton, her sister; Barb Harvey, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, two brothers; Chuck Runyan (Barbara,) of Carmel, Indiana and Jim Runyan (Denise), of Ironton, and her sister-in-law; Debbie Runyan, of Ironton.

There will be a graveside service in Calvary Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Saturday, with Father Wayne Morris officiating.
