Ashland man charged in Lawrence County rape, burglary case

An Ashland man is in the Lawrence County court system after being indicted for rape and burglary.

Johnathan Harris, 36, is accused on entering a home in November 2023 and raping a victim. He has been indicted on first-degree felony rape and second-degree felony burglary charges.

A court date has not been set yet.

• Wesley A. Earls, 36, of Chesapeake, fourth-degree felony disrupting public services and fourth-degree misdemeanor menacing.

• Dennis A. Davis, 52, Pedro, fifth-degree felony assault, third-degree felony having a weapon while under disability and fourth-degree felony failure to appear.

• Tony Wilson II, 34, Ironton, first–degree misdemeanor domestic violence, third-degree felony having a weapon while under disability and fifth-degree felony theft.

• Brittany Marie McKenzie, 34, South Point, fourth-degree felony vandalism.

• Jordan Henson, 24, Huntington, West Virginia, fourth-degree felony failure to appear.

• Jesse T. Conley, 36, fourth-degree felony failure to appear.

• Emily A. Smith, 25, Chesapeake, third-degree felony tampering with evidence and fifth-degree felony vandalism.

• Charles M. Hutchinson, 36, Chesapeake, third-degree felony aggravated vehicular assault and first-degree misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Brian Keith Wood, 52, fifth-degree felony forgery.

• Shawn P. Frechette, 45, Ashland, Kentucky, first-degree misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Logan Matthew Brace, 22, Crown City, fourth-degree felony having a weapon while under disability and fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine.

• Donald G. Verderosa, 47, Huntington, West Virginia, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• William A. Neal, 27, Catlettsburg, Kentucky, fifth-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compounds and fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Jason S. Tackett, 44, South Point, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and third-degree felony driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Amy C. Dillon, 55, Ironton, fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs.

• Kaylee M. McKnight, 34, Ironton, second-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, two counts of fourth-degree felony trafficking in fentanyl-related compounds, two counts of third-degree felony trafficking in fentanyl-related compounds, fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and fourth-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compounds.

• Edward Crawford, 37, Ironton, second-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, three counts of fourth-degree felony trafficking in fentanyl-related compounds, fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, fourth-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compounds and third-degree felony having a weapon while under disability and fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property.

• Dakota J. Woodruff, 29, Lucasville, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs and fourth-degree felony improperly handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

• Larry Lee Basenback, 32, Wayne, West Virginia, first-degree felony possession of cocaine, first-degree felony trafficking in cocaine, second-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, second-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compound, third-degree felony trafficking in fentanyl-related compound, fifth-degree felony receiving proceeds of an offense subject to forfeiture proceedings and second-degree misdemeanor obstructing official business.
