Timothy Crank, 69, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at King’s Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

He was born March 1, 1955, to the late Chester and Darlene (Stapleton) Crank and is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley (Corn) Crank, of Ironton.

Tim graduated from Rock Hill High School and worked for several businesses in the tri-state area as a salesman.

He was a gun enthusiast that enjoyed all things outdoors but hunting and camping was his favorite outdoor activities.

Tim also enjoyed watching NASCAR and Kentucky Basketball, but nothing compared to his love of spending time with his family.

He was part of the Lawrence County Free Will Baptist Conference for many years and served as clerk until his health began to fail, but his love for the Lord never wavered through all his sicknesses.

Tim was a member of Woodland Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Ironton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Jeff Crank.

Along with his wife, Shirley, those left to celebrate his life are two sons, Jeffery (Tabitha) Crank, of Coal Grove, and Allen (Emillie) Crank, of Ironton; four grandchildren, Brycen Stormes, Benjamin Crank, Elias Crank and Madelyn Crank; a sister, Cheryl Crank; and also many friends, family and loved ones that will miss him greatly.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Pastor Dave Schug and Bro. Chad Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery, 1674 Old US 52, Franklin Furnace.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
