UK King’s Daughters is asking for the community’s participation in the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to help better understand the area’s top health issues.
Residents of Lawrence County are asked to fill out the online CHNA survey at KingsDaughtersHealth.com and the hospital’s social media sites. It also can be accessed directly at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/UKKD-CHNA24.
The survey includes questions about access to primary care, health insurance coverage, transportation and use of emergency and urgent care treatment facilities. Participants are asked to identify the top health issues in their communities and the challenges individuals face in accessing healthcare services.
“The CHNA provides us with a look into the areas our community feels could use improvement,” said Diva Justice, R.D., director of Community Health. “It is an important tool for determining where we focus our community efforts for the next three years.”
Survey responses will be used in conjunction with other research to develop plans to address community needs. All responses are strictly confidential and will not be linked to any name, ISP, email or any other identifier.
All results will be available to the public once the survey process has been completed and results analyzed.
