Rock Hill’s Snavely 10th at state XC meet

 COLUMBUS — Now Nixon Snavely can honestly say he’ a “10.”

The Rock Hill Redmen junior cross country runner turned in one of his best performances of the season and placed 10th overall in the individual standings at the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division 3 state meet.

Snavely ran a 15:49.24 times which was 14 seconds off his school record he set earlier this season at the Ashland, Ky.) All-Comers Meet.

Coal Grove Hornets sophomore Seth Hamm was No.38 overall with a time of 16:20.62.

Senior Dakotah Sanders led the rest of the Rock Hill team in the state meet with a 16:57.15 clocking and was N.87 among the 192 runners who competed.

Junior Ryan Riddle ran a 16:57.68, sophomore Kelan Davidson posted a 17:55.61 time and junior Ben Simpson was right behind at 17:56.44.

Junior Luke Snyder of Rittman was the overall winner with a 14:58.13 clocking and Fairfield Union won the team championship with 88 points.
