Eva Ruth Robinson Estep, 91, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at her residence.
The Lawrence County, native was born Oct. 24, 1932 a daughter of the late Isaac Robinson and Winnie Belle Sutherland Robinson.
Eva was a 1951 graduate of Waterloo High School and a member of the First Assembly of God in Raceland, Kentucky.
She was a former volunteer at General Hospital in Ironton and worked the voting polls for years in Rappsburg.
Eva loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and going to church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Alvin Estep, on Dec. 18, 2022; a grandson, Clint Estep; a sister, Cara Henderson; and nine brothers, Radford, Jack, Roy, Wayne, Swanson, Farley, Charlie, Buck and Ken Robinson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, Larry (Connie) Estep, of Savannah, Georgia, Ted Estep, of Ironton, Tony Estep, of Palm Beach County, Florida, Karen Estep, of Ironton and Greg Estep, of Willow Wood; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Murnahan, of Ironton, Judy Schmidt, of Columbus; and one brother, Donald Robinson, of Michigan.
Funeral services will be noon Monday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton, with Pastor Chad Haggard officiating. Burial will follow the funeral in Wilgus Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
