Staff report
ASHLAND, Ky. – More than 200 non-perishable food items were collected for the Pathfinder Pantry at a recently held ACTC staff conference.
The conference was organized by ACTC’s Staff Council, featuring a day of professional development sessions, a keynote speaker, and a drive to collect food items for the Pathfinder Pantry, where 223 items were collected in total. As an incentive, ACTC administrators volunteered to participate in a dunking booth if over 200 items were collected.
The Pathfinder Pantry is committed to transforming the lives of currently enrolled ACTC students through assistance with meeting basic needs and accessing campus and community resources. The Pathfinder Pantry aims to remove non-academic barriers to college success and contributes to educational attainment for all students.
To ensure accessibility to the Pathfinder Pantry, one must be a currently enrolled ACTC student and complete the online form included below.
Students may fill one bag per month of non-perishable food items and receive one hygiene pack.
Perishable food/produce may be picked up weekly, while supplies are available. Each student needing services must complete a request form each month that they need services.
The Pathfinder Pantry is located on the College Drive Campus in Room 163, and the Technology Drive Campus in Room 136A, inside of the student lounge.
Both pantry locations operate entirely from donations, so any donations of canned food items or hygiene products are greatly appreciated.
Those items can be dropped off at either location.
