PEDRO — They may have been in a gym, but it was raining 3-point goals for the Rock Hill Redmen.

Rock Hill made seven 3-pointers en route to a 58-43 win over the St. Joseph Flyers on Saturday night.

Levi Jenkins made four 3-pointers and scored 12 points for the Redmen while Blake Porter had a game-high 18 points and made a pair of triples. Kelan Davidson scored 13 points and made the other 3-pointer.

Wesley Neal scored 13 points, Carter Johnson 10 and Evan Balestra 9 to pace the Flyers (0-1).

The Flyers took a 14-6 first quarter lead as Balestra and Johnson scored 4 points each, Landon Rowe drilled a 3-pointer and Neal added 3 points.

Porter had 5 of the 6 Rock Hill points.

The Redmen (1-1) got within 24-20 at the half as Levi Jenkins knocked down a pair of 3-pointers, Davidson had a trey and Porter added 4 more points.

Neal scored 6 of the Flyers’ 10 points.

The game turned in the third quarter as Rock Hill hit three more 3-pointers and outscored the Flyers 21-8 to take a 41-32 lead.

Davidson scored 7 points, Porter 5 and Braxton Harper 4 points with Davidson, Porter and Jenkins all hitting 3-pointers.

Neal and Johnson had 4 points each in the quarter for St. Joseph.

Rock Hill outscored the Flyers 17-11 in the fourth quarter including 6-of-6 at the foul line as Porter went 4-of-4 and Davidson 2-of-2 as part of his 4 points.

On Tuesday, St. Joseph vistis Wayne, W.Va., while the Redmen travel to Oak Hill.
