DEERING — For their third year, a Deering church will be hosting a drive-thru Nativity scene to begin the holiday season.

Community Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4125 State Route 243 (four miles from the four-way stop in Coal Grove), will host the event, featuring live animals, from Dec. 1-2, from 6- 7:30 p.m. each night.

The Nativity is being organized by Kids 4 Truth, a youth group at the church, for ages 4-teenagers), who meet at the church each Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m.
