Drug abuse — County Road 1, South Point, March 7, woman tells deputies that she took 12 Xanax in an alleged suicide attempt. She was given a summons and sent via ambulance for treatment.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, March 7, woman allegedly takes two cell phones and a hot oil treatment totaling $299 without paying. Amy L. Blanton, 27, 29 Township Road 1511, South Point, charged with petty theft.

Domestic violence — Township Road 1186, South Point, March 8, woman alleges that after an argument with her boyfriend he grabbed and shoved her and tore up her food stamp card, bank card and prepaid card. Justin D. Walsh, 23, 641 County Road 66, Proctorville, arrested for domestic violence and taken to jail.

Vandalism — Township Road 1467, South Point, March 8, homeowner reports seeing two men take gutters off her house. Subjects said they had permission from a relative, were advised to stop.

Robbery — County Road 1, South Point, March 8, woman delivering pizza reports two men knocked her to the ground and took her money bag.

Petty theft — County Road 27, Pedro, March 8, woman reports electric guitar and amp taken from home. Suspect named.

Drug paraphernalia — Brentwood Village, Chesapeake, March 8, during a traffic stop deputies find marijuana residue and pipe. Shawn W. Chapman, 27, 1419 Seventh Ave., Huntington, W.Va., given summons for drug paraphernalia.

Theft — County Road 1, South Point, March 8, man reports rototiller, grinder and putty knife taken from garage. Suspect named.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, March 9, two women allegedly leave store with $66 in items without paying. Amber D. Cole, 24, 1227 Wacoo Road, Huntington and Jennifer L. McClave, 49, of same address, arrested for petty theft.

Theft — Township Road 1386, Proctorville, March 10, man reports boat and trailer taken from his driveway.

Phone harassment — Township Road 3232, Ironton, March 11, woman alleges sister harassing her on phone over condition of their mother.
