Meet Kathy Gue, a HomeTown Love Chesapeake volunteer. The group, a spinoff of Project First Impression, will begin planting in pots throughout Chesapeake starting on May 8. HomeTown Love Chesapeake started with 12 pots throughout the village and have increased them to 25 this year. The pots are made possible by donations and sponsors who pay $100 to have a pot planted and cared for by volunteers including Cathy Rideout, Julie Todd, Michalle Oldaker, Tommy Templeton, Tina Jordan and Tonya Hagley. HomeTown Love hopes to expand to other villages and towns in Lawrence County. (Submitted photo)
