Senior meals typically served Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays have been cancelled until further notice. On March 20, seniors can drive up to the center and brown bag lunch will be brought to your car

Buckeye Rural Electric

Buckeye Rural Rio Grande and Linville offices will be closed to the public until further notice. They will continue to accept phone calls and provide service to members via the drive-thru window. They only plan to meet face-to-face on an as needed basis and by appointment when possible.

South Point Rummage Sale

The village of South Point has postponed its annual spring rummage sale to a later date, to be announced.

Ironton Kresge Reunion Postponed

The reunion of the employees of the Ironton Kresge store has been postponed due to restaurants being closed for the coronavirus. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

County Commissioners Meeting

The Lawrence County Commissioners meetings are now closed to the public but can be viewed on the commissioners Facebook page.

Planning Commission Meeting Canceled

At this time, the Lawrence County Regional Planning Commission meeting schedule for today at the Giovanni’s in Chesapeake will be canceled due to the coronavirus.

Dysert Family Concert Canceled

The Jackson Avenue Church of God Holiness in Huntington, West Virginia, has canceled the Dysert Family concert scheduled for Saturday due to the coronavirus.
