Next Friday, The Ironton Tribune will publish its annual Profile issue.

The special publication is a magazine that will be included with the Feb. 29-March 1 weekend Tribune.

Our theme this year is “There’s No Place Like Home” and will focus on the history of Lawrence County.

Stories will range to profiles of local businesses to the history of area organizations and the story behind landmarks in the county.

Our reporters have worked on this presentation and we have several outside contributors who will be featured as columnists.

And, due the abundance of material we have, we are going to do a special week of content leading up to its publication.

Starting tomorrow, look for additional Profile stories each day, showcasing our region’s history.

This publication is one of the most extensive things we do each year and we hope you enjoy it.

And we are already planning next year’s magazine. If you have suggestions for a theme for 2021, send us your suggestions.
