Mark Potter
March 12, 1961 – Jan. 18, 2020
Mark Potter of Ironton, passed away Jan. 18, 2020, at the age of 58 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky, after a brief illness, surrounded by family.
Mark graduated from Ironton High School with the class of 1979. He was a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in business and finance.
Mark was in the banking business in the Ironton area for 25 years and later, continued to work at Coal Grove Giovanni’s.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Helen Potter; brother, Jimmy Potter; and niece, Rebekkah Potter.
Mark will be deeply missed by family and many friends who loved him dearly.
Respecting Mark’s wishes, there will be no service. Family and friends are invited to visit the family at their home, 1908 S. Ninth St., Ironton, during the hours of 4–6 p.m. on Sunday.
Special thanks to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital ICU staff and the staff at the Community Hospice Care Center.

Beverly Maynard
Beverly Justine Maynard, 56, of Scottown, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton Campus, Ironton.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Visitation will be held 5–6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Jane Napier
Jane E. Napier, 71, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Napier.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, West Virginia. Visitation will be held 6–8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Carolyn Horner
Carolyn L. Madden Horner, 67, of Kitts Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky.
She is survived by her husband, James Horner.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery and visitation will be 2 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
