Peighton Rowe is in the zone. Kylee Richendollar is hitting them into the O-zone.
Rowe went 2-4 with two runs batted in as she continued her hot-hitting and Richendollar cranked her second home run in as many games as the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers beat the South Point Lady Pointers 10-3 in an Ohio Valley Conference game Monday.
Ironton (12-1, 7-0) racked up 12 hits with Demi Sands, Haylee Stevens and Richendollar all having big games.

Mary Beth Burton worked five innings for the win and Keegan Moore finished up by striking out five of the six batters she faced.
Burton stuck out eight, walked two and gave up only one earned run.
“Mary Beth pitched well tonight. Keegan came in and did a great job in relief,” said Ironton coach Missy Fields.
“Haylee Stevens had a great night at the plate going 3-3. Richendollar hit a bomb over the left field fence. She’s been doing her job as DP.”
Ironton went up 2-0 in the first inning.
Rowe was safe on an error, Taiya Hamlet walked and Sands singled in a run. Moore then hit a sacrifice fly.
The Lady Tigers came up with a big five-run inning in the second.

The Lady Pointers got a run in the top of the third on a double by Jill Aylsworth and Sara Allen’s base hit.
But Ironton got the run back in the bottom of the inning.
