Ironton Police Department

Shots fired – 800 block of Vine Street, 12 a.m. Saturday, shots reportedly fired. Negative contact, it’s fireworks.

Need report – Moose Lodge 12:10 a.m. Saturday, man reports he was attacked at the Moose Lodge. Subject declined to make report.

Trouble – Between Fourth and Fifth streets, 12:24 a.m. Saturday, woman reports there are teenagers causing trouble. No contact, will be in area for a while.

Hit skip – 800 block of Vernon Street, 12:48 a.m. Saturday, man reports his car and another vehicle were hit by a car whose owner then left. Information filed for report.

Domestic – 800 block of South Tenth Street, 1 p.m. Saturday, woman reports her uncle is fighting with her mother. Information for report.

Altercation – 1:06 a.m. Saturday, woman reports she got into a fight at the Moose Lodge. Advised to come to station.

Man in street – Family Dollar parking lot, 1:25 a.m. Saturday, man reports another man is on the ground at the parking lot. Family came to pick up subject.

Possible break-in – 2100 block of South Fourth Street, 1:49 a.m. Saturday, man reports two men trying to break into neighbor’s vehicle. Extra patrols are needed in area. No damage or items stolen.

Trouble – Peddlers, 3:07 a.m. Saturday, several people reportedly fighting. All parties advised and moved on.

Vandalism – 1100 block of South Third Street, 3:29 a.m. Saturday, man reports someone has kicked in his neighbor’s door and is trying to kick his in, spoke to homeowner. Her boyfriend has locked her out.

Breaking and entering – 2500 block of South Fifth Street, 11:36 a.m. Saturday, woman reports her mother’s home was broken into.

Vandalism – 1100 block of McGovney Avenue 2:40 p.m. Saturday, woman reports her car has been ransacked. Information filed for report.

Prowler – 2800 block of South Ninth Street 6:56 p.m. Saturday, woman reports someone is at her door. It is a family member.

Domestic violence – 1100 block of South 11th Street, 8:50 p.m. Saturday, woman reports her boyfriend smashed her lip. Information for report.

Loud party – 2100 block of South Sixth Street 11:43 p.m. Saturday, man reports a party is keeping neighbors awake.

Request patrols – 1900 block of South Fifth Street, 11 p.m. Saturday, woman reports there has been vandalism in the area lately and requests officers to patrol. Attention Upper units.

Disturbance – Second and Kemp streets, 2:08 a.m. Sunday, man reports woman sitting in car yelling at another person in a car. Female said she was talking on the phone, agreed to move on.

Woman down – 2:12 a.m. Sunday, caller reports there is a woman lying on the sidewalk somewhere near Boomers or the Moose. Female said she had fallen. Helped her up.

Loud music – 2:19 a.m. Sunday, 1500 block of South Seventh Street, man reports there are three carloads of teenagers in front of his house with loud music. Caller called back to say they left, disregard.

Trespassers – 1500 block of South Sixth Street, 3:51 a.m. woman reports she is out of town and neighbor said people were in house. Daughter was there with friends. She was released to aunt and others sent on.

Disorderly conduct – Lawrence Common Apartments, Saturday, two men reportedly fighting. Christopher D. Blankenship, 32, of 62 Private Drive 9992, South Point, and Kyle D. Brewer, 24, of 1702 Donna Court, Ashland, Ky., arrested.

Petty theft – 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, Thursday, man and woman allegedly attempted to take video games from Walmart. Daniel J. Watts, 25, of 9 Circle Drive Apt. 4, Huntington, W.Va., and Monica M. Gonzin, 20, of 9 Circle Drive Apt. 4, Huntington, W.Va., arrested.

Domestic violence – 800 block of County Road 230, Kitts Hill, Dec. 27, man allegedly grabbed his wife by the arm and pushed her, entered the house. Lovus D. Brewer, 54, of 800 block of County Road 230, Kitts Hill, arrested and taken to jail.
