An Ironton man who was arrested after the death of a 2-year-old boy, who was later found to have drugs in his system, waived his rights to a preliminary hearing Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court, and his case is now bound over to a Lawrence County grand jury.
David E. Large, 36, of Ironton, is facing a charge of felony child endangerment with additional charges possible, pending the ongoing investigation by the Ironton Police Department.
In addition to waiving his preliminary hearing Thursday, his bond was reduced from $100,000 cash or surety to $75,000 cash or surety. Attorney Luke Styer is representing Large in the case.
