PEDRO — William Lace Noble, 87, of Pedro, died Dec. 19, 2010, in Columbus. The Elliott County, Ky., native was born Nov. 18, 1923, the son of the late Charles and Annabelle Hall Noble. He was also preceded in death  by his wife, Nellie Stapleton Noble.

Mr. Noble attended Hanging Rock School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former bus driver for the Rock Hill School District. He also attended Warneke Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sons, Charles Noble, Ronald Noble and Lawrence Noble; a daughter, Helen Noble; a brother, James “Jimmie” Noble; and a sister, Doris Burton.

He is survived by three sons, John Noble and Carl Noble, both of Pedro and Donald Noble of Wheelersburg; a sister, Florence Lykins of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
