PINE GROVE — The top choice was Joyce.
The Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association met as usual on Tuesday and it was Joyce Lewis who led the way.
Hostess Lana Moore served breakfast treats during the weekly business meeting and listed four golfing events.
When golfing was done and lunch was served, Moore announced the day’s winners and Lewis walked away with two of the awards.
The other two awards for the day’s events went to Dora Carmon and Sharon Fox.
Anyone interested in joining the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association is welcome and women do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the group.
The group conducts a brief business meeting each Tuesday is at 9 a.m. and golfing follows at 9:30 or 10.
Pat Riggs will serve as next Tuesday’s hostess.
