Fairland edges South Point in tough volleyball match

PROCTORVILLE — Now that was an exciting volleyball game.
The Fairland Lady Dragons out-battled the South Point Lady Pointers in five sets on Thursday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Fairland won the match 11-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21 and 15-13.
Taylor Webb had 13 points including five aces and also had three kills for Fairland. Bailey Rowland notched nine points and also had five aces.
Kelsie Warnock had a big game with seven points and 15 kills as did Allie Marshall who got eight points, six kills and nine blocks.
Fairland is now 2-1 and 1-0 in the league.
