Lawrence County Common Pleas Judge Charles Cooper set a trial date for a Chesapeake woman accused of killing her husband and hiding his body in a refrigerator in her basement last early spring.

Tina M. Campbell AKA Tina M. Adkins, 43, of 603 Rockwood Ave., Chesapeake, is accused of killing her husband, David Adkins, prior to placing his body in a basement refrigerator locked by a chain and padlock. In January, she pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in a change of plea from not guilty.

The results of the evaluation were admitted into court at that time. However, the findings of her evaluation were inconclusive, prompting a second evaluation.

She is facing charges of aggravated murder, an unclassified felony, and tampering with evidence, a felony of the third-degree.

Cooper set trial in the case for Monday, Oct. 1, which is expected to last one week.

A pretrial date before trial begins will not be set until the court obtains the results of her second evaluation.
