Raymond Carl Millhouse

PEDRO — Raymond Carl Millhouse, 71, of Pedro, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at his residence. The Delaware, Ohio, native was born Feb. 13, 1939, the son of the late Willard and Edith Gilmore Millhouse.
Mr. Millhouse attended Rock Hill High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a former security guard for the Sand Bar at the Marting Hotel and a member of the VFW Post 8850. He attended Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by six brothers, Henry Millhouse, Willard “Jr” Millhouse, Phillip Millhouse, Charles Millhouse, Robert “Butch” Millhouse and Harley Millhouse; and two sisters, Roberta Forest and Thelma Anderson.
He is survived by three sons, Raymond C. Millhouse of Columbus, Timothy R. Millhouse of North Carolina and Justin D. Millhouse of Marion; a daughter, Janette A. Griffin of West Portsmouth; a sister, Dorothy Mullins of Pedro; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald and Bonnie Millhouse of Burlington, Clyde and Debbie Millhouse of Ironton and Kenny Millhouse of Michigan.
Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery with military graveside rites by the VFW Post 8850. Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
