Library has diverse activities lined up

Storytime entertains preschoolers
The Briggs Lawrence County Public Library has events for all ages planned for the coming weeks.
On Monday, librarian Jan Gullet hosted Preschool Storytime at the library’s main branch, reading to children and providing craft opportunities.
This event, which happens weekly at all branches, will move to the Proctorville branch on Tuesday at 11 a.m., while Toddler Time will take place that day in Ironton at 11 a.m.
At the South Point branch, the crochet club will host its regular meeting at 2 p.m., while Ironton will host a “Getting Started with Gardening” event at 5 p.m. The day’s activities will conclude with the showing of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” at the main branch from 5-7:30 p.m.

• Briggsy’s Block Party: LEGO Fun at Chesapeake – 3:30 p.m.
• Teen/Tween Program: Board Game Bonanza – 4 p.m.
• Harry Potter adult book discussion at Ironton – 6 p.m.
Thursday, April 26
• Preschool Storytime at Chesapeake – 11 a..m.
• Paddington 2 at Ironton – 4 p.m.
Saturday, April 28
• Nightstalkers Bigfoot program at Ironton – 2:30 p.m.
Monday, April 30
• DIY Butterfly Feeder adult program at South Point – 2 p.m.
• Movie at South Point: Paddington – 4 p.m.
Tuesday, May 1
• Crochet Club at South Point – 2 p.m.
Friday, May 4
• Tech Tip – Proctorville – 10 a.m.
Saturday, May 5
• Teen Movie Marathon at South Point – 10 a.m.
