HAVERHILL — Marie Louise Brown, 91, of Haverhill died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lundale, W.Va., native was born March 15, 1919, the daughter of the late Howard and Mollie Clayton Ball. She was the widow of Ralph C. Brown who died April 19, 1987.

Marie attended Green Township schools and was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Ohio Furnace Baptist Church and lived in this area her whole life.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six brothers, Homer, Troy, George, Virgil, Earl and Herman Ball; and two sisters, Myrtle Kiser and Bertha Hall.

She is survived by daughter, Loretta Yates of Middletown; three sons, Ralph E. Brown of Haverhill, Ronald Brown of Columbus and Gary Brown of Springboro; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Bret Layton officiating. Burial will follow in Buckeye Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
