OAK HILL — The new year didn’t change much.
The Oak Hill Oaks never trailed as they remained unbeaten and kept the Rock Hill Redmen winless with a 59-28 victory on Tuesday.
Rock Hill (0-8) shot just 12-of-43 from the field for 28 percent and did not connect on 10 3-point attempts.
Jaret Bacorn scored nine points and Kaden France had seven points and seven rebounds for the Redmen.
Oak Hill (9-0) was led by Landon Carroll with 19 points. Carroll scored early in the fourth quarter to give him 1,000 career points.
Mitchell Hale scored 12 points and Mason Darby had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Oaks.
The game was tied 4-4 at the 4:04 mark of the first quarter when Oak Hill went on a 12-0 run to lead 16-4 and led the rest of the game.
The Oaks led 18-6 at the end of the first quarter and 37-11 at the half. The lead was 49-22 after three quarters.
Rock Hill hosts Ironton on Friday.
