Thursday named Mr. and Mrs. Dale Burcham Day in county

Burcham is currently a Proctorville village councilman, and prior to that, served as the Lawrence County Clerk of Courts for 32 years. He has also served as the village clerk of Proctorville during his career.

“So much of what he gave to Lawrence County was indicative of how he lives his life in his marriage and his family,” Commissioner DeAnna Holliday said.

“I’m very lucky to have the parents that I have,” he said. “65 years is a great milestone to reach in terms of marriage today. They are a great example for us as their children, and the community for their longevity together.”
