Support recreation levy renewal

Let’s rally together on Nov. 7 and support the youth and families of our community by renewing the Ironton Recreation Levy.
This is only a renewal levy, so there are not any additional fees that this levy will create.
The levy helps maintain the parks; by cutting grass, purchasing playground equipment, and maintaining the many parks in the city.
The recreation department is responsible for the upkeep of the Spray Park, Molten’s Field, Edna Kopacz Park, Etna Street Park, and the Eighth Street Pocket Park.
The recreation department also runs the youth basketball league each year. This league is a very vital program in developing the kids physically and mentally to be future Tigers and champions.
The citizens of Ironton have always pulled together to support our kids, which are the future of our community. Let’s support our kids and families on Nov. 7 by voting yes for the City of Ironton recreation levy renewal.
