Rescheduled for the same time next week

Due to the ongoing community emergency, the regularly scheduled meeting of the Ironton City Council will be rescheduled for next Thursday, Oct. 19, at the same time. The finance committee meeting will begin at 5 p.m. with the regular city council meeting to follow at 6 p.m.

Ironton Vice Mayor Craig Harvey said that the city police department is currently involved in the manhunt, and their resources are better utilized for the protection of the schools and universities rather than city council security this evening.
