Patsy Middleton

May 25, 1941 — July 17, 2017

Patsy (Pat) Yvonne Middleton, 76, of Logan, formerly of Pedro, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Carlin House in Logan. She was married in June of 1962 to the late Ralph Middleton.
Patsy was born May 25, 1941, in Lawrence County, and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Nora DePriest. She attended Rock Hill High School, class of 1959. She moved to Columbus shortly after, where she lived until she retired from the Hart’s Big Bear Corporation. She then moved to Logan, where she lived until her passing.
Patsy was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds and golfer, Rickie Fowler. She loved to go fishing, mushroom hunting and loved spoiling her great-granddaughter and grandchildren, whom she adored.
Patsy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Lenny Potochnik, of Logan; grandchildren, Kara (Zach) Stephens and Justin Potochnik; great-granddaughter, Emma Stephens; and she could not wait to welcome her great-grandson, Elijah Stephens, but the good Lord called her home before she got to meet him; one sister, Ida “Nan” (Douglas) Dean, of Pedro; and two brothers, Lowell (Noel) DePriest, of Pedro, and Robert (Wilma) DePriest, of Peebles.
In addition to her husband, Patsy was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Gayle (Gordon) Collins and Nadine “Sue” (Harold) Rogers; and two brothers, Roy “Tom” DePriest and Floyd “Butch” (Diana) DePriest.
A viewing will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the Lewis and Gillum Funeral Home, Oak Hill. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Phillips officiating. A dinner will be at LaRosa’s Family Restaurant, Jackson, immediately following the service.
