CHESAPEAKE — The Special Needs Youth Sportsman fishing event is set for Saturday.
George McCalvin, with the group, said the event will run from 8 a.m.-around noon and is expected to draw up to 150 children.
“It’s going to be a big event,” he said.
A caravan of vehicles will meet at 7:30 a.m. at South Point Tractor Supply and will depart for the Chesapeake farm location at 7:50 a.m., he said.
The event is free to families and no registration is needed.
McCalvin said signs will be posted to provide directions for those who want to arrive after the departure time.
