STEM school opposition is politically motivated

T o say I’m disappointed is a understatement that The Tribune would put out an opinion piece about STEM hurting public schools.

This was an opinion pushed by a political party which was totally uncalled for. The public schools are failing and even reports by the DOE will back that up, so why is STEM bad?

Why is my child bored at school while the system feels little Jimmy who hates school deserves the same attention as my child who loves school and wants to be something?

I’ll take STEM and its private backers any day over the public schools and I really feel your paper shouldn’t have put a piece out there that was politically motivated.
