Iris Chudley

Nov. 28, 1934 — March 14, 2017

Iris Lee Chudley, 82, of Pedro, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Iris was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Leslie “Les” Gail and Mary “Hope” Conley Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Walter William Chudley; two sisters, Billie Jo Quillen and Darlene Robinson; two brothers, Carl Lowell Smith and Russell Randolph Smith; her son, Eric Alan Miller; and son-in-law, James Randall “Randy” Martin. She retired as a bookkeeper and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Iris is survived by her first husband, Charles Donald Miller, of Carthage, Tennessee; two daughters, Diana Gail Miller (Bill) Tyson, of Ironton, and Gina Maria Miller Martin, of South Point; three sisters, Nancy (Jim) DeLong, of Ft. Myers, Florida, Ahrea (Neil) Miller, of Lakeland, Florida, and Tonnia (Jim) Meadows, of Pedro; one brother, Mike (Linda) Pemberton, of Ironton; five grandchildren, Amber (Andy) Robinson, Mandy Myers, Ethan Martin, James Miller and Maleea Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Robinson and Rylee Robinson.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. before the service at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.

John Sharp

John William Sharp, 76, of Ironton, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He is survived by his wife, Janet Waddle Sharp.

Kristy Douglas

Kristy Lynn Douglas, 43, of South Point, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 5 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Terry Wagner. Lisa Cremeans

Lisa Marie Cremeans, 57, of Chesapeake, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Paul Cremeans. James Elmer McDaniels, 63, of Ironton, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at his residence. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-noon Monday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with a graveside service immediately following and the Rev. Steve Harvey officiating. Steven Miller

Steven D. Miller, 52, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Arrangements are pending at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
