Sheriff’s reports
Burglary – 16000 block of St. Route 243, Chesapeake, Oct. 25, house burglarized, pistol, medication stolen.
Contributing to the unruliness of a child – 13-year-old girl in car with two men, had allegedly consumed alcohol. Her mother had told her not to leave house. Nathan A. Perry, 32, of 424 County Rd. 3, Chesapeake, and Oscar B. Pratt, 20, of 813 First St., Apt. A, Chesapeake, arrested.
Theft – 1900 block of County Rd. 141 Oct. 26, chainsaw taken from truck bed.
Domestic violence – 100 block of Township Rd. 1204, Proctorville, woman allegedly struck daughter in the side of the head with her fist. Suspect named.
Criminal damage, theft – 7700 block of County Rd. 5, Kitts Hill, Oct 28, three tires on vehicle cut, CD player stolen.
Possession of paraphernalia – Oct. 29, County Road 1 and Delta Lane, paraphernalia found during traffic stop. Jason H. Chinn, 34, of 282 Bellevue Rd., Huntington, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic violence – 300 block of Township Rd. 2785, Chesapeake, Oct. 30, man allegedly shoved woman down, hit her in the face. Scotty R. McDonald, 24, of 342 Township Road 2785, Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.
Making false alarms – 100 block of State Street, Proctorville, man allegedly requested an ambulance when there was no medical emergency. Robert L. Scarberry, 43, of 202 Wilgus St., Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.
Ironton Police
Credit card theft – 5:36 p.m. Monday, Credit card used without permission. Information filed for report.
Trouble – CVS pharmacy, Jefferson Street 7:26 p.m. Monday, irate customer. Subject advised not to come back.
Shoplifter – Pick’n Save, 7:39 p.m. Monday, alleged shoplifter in store. Information for report.
Suspicious activity – 7:40 p.m. Monday, loud bangs, shattered pop bottles found in yard. Caller requests extra patrols, kids playing pranks.
Trouble – 9:21 p.m. Monday 300 block of Pine Street, neighbors fighting. No fight at this time. All advised.
Suspicious activity – Thomas Street, 12:15 a.m. boys wearing black hoods walking around street. Checked area, don’t see anyone.
Vandalism – 1500 block of Lawrence Street, 3 a.m. Tuesday, door egged.
Suspicious person – 3 a.m. Tuesday Speedway at Park Avenue, man asking for food. Checked area, he is not around now.
Theft – 2:37 p.m., wallet stolen. Information for report.
Kid duct taped – 2:24 p.m. Tuesday Fifth and Oak Street, kid on sidewalk with hands and feet duct taped together. Negative contact.
Threats – 3 p.m. woman’s boyfriend allegedly making threats, logged only.
Assault – Fourth and Mulberry streets, 3:13 p.m., caller allegedly found stolen items in yard sale. When confronted, the person allegedly twisted her arm. Summons in lieu issued.
Vandalism – 3:33 p.m. Seventh and Oak streets Tuesday, truck damaged. Information filed for report.
Trouble – 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, kids running through yard signs and knocking on doors, subject advised.
