PROCTORVILLE — Fast or slow, the speed of the game is merely an adjustment to the Fairland Lady Dragons.
Fairland played in a lower gear at times on Saturday in the Big E Classic, but they still raced past the North Adams Lady Green Devils 46-31.
Emily Chapman scored a game-high 17 points as Fairland ran its record to 4-0. Allie Marshall added 11 points.
Lakyn Hupp had 16 points to pace North Adams (2-2).
Marshall scored the first 7 points of the game for Fairland while Hupp got all 8 of North Adams’ points in the first quarter. Chapman also scored 7 points as Fairland jumped out to a 20-8 lead.
The Lady Dragons were up 30-17 at the half and then Chapman scored 5 more points in the third quarter as Fairland stretched the lead to 40-25.
Fairland hosts Coal Grove on Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
