PORTSMOUTH — Aleigha Justice has some more tennis to play.
The Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers’ senior standout reached the Final Four of the Division II sectional tournament on Wednesday to secure a berth in the district.
Justice opened the day with a win over Lea Wright of Wheelersburg, 7-5, 6-4, and avenged her only regular season loss.
In the Final Four, Justice lost to No. 1 seed Sylvia Gray of Chillicothe Unioto 6-0, 6-0. Gray has only lost five games all year and for of those losses were to a player not in the Southeast sectional.
Justice lost to a player from Athens in the 3-4 seed match.
The district tournament will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Ohio University.
