Man gets two years for selling drugs

A South Point man was sentenced to prison Wednesday for selling heroin.
Charles Johnson II, 27, of 56 County Road 57, previously pleaded guilty to four fourth-degree counts of trafficking in heroin.
Retired judge Richard Walton sentenced the man to 24 months in prison.
In other cases:
• Tammie Fitzpatrick, 52, of 56 County Road 57, South Point, was arraigned on a fifth-degree count of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments, to which she pleaded guilty.
Walton sentenced her to nine months in prison.
• Mickey Rowe, 46, of 291 County Road 7C, Ironton, pleaded guilty to two fifth-degree counts of misuse of a credit card. Walton sentenced the woman to four years community control sanctions under intensive supervised probation, 200 hours community service and $262 restitution.
• Richard Graham, 34, of 1120 Township Road 88, Proctorville, admitted CCS violations and was sentenced to eight months in prison.
• Bryson Gruber, 24, of 2115 S. Fourth St., Ironton, admitted CCS violations and was sentenced to four months in prison.
• Anna Dillon, 43, of 154 Township Road 1110, Proctorville, was arraigned on two second-degree counts of burglary, to which she pleaded not guilty. Walton continued bond from a lower court and added a $50,000 own-recognizance bond. A pretrial was set for Oct. 19.
• John Spencer, 22, of 609 Cliff St., Ironton, was arraigned on three fourth-degree counts of trafficking in cocaine and one fourth-degree count of complicity to trafficking in cocaine, to which he pleaded not guilty. Walton set bond at $25,000 cash or surety plus OR. A pretrial was set for Oct. 12.
• Michael Gustin, 53, of 917 McGovney Ave., Ironton, was arraigned on two fifth-degree and two misdemeanor counts of criminal non-support, to which he pleaded not guilty. Walton set bond at $35,000 OR and set a pretrial for Oct. 12.
• Penny McClary, 40, of 1392 County Road 1, South Point, was arraigned on a fifth-degree count of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, to which she pleaded not guilty. Walton set bond at $10,000 cash or surety and OR. A pretrial was set for Oct. 5.
• Ashley Baldwin, 26, of 15 Carver Road, Franklin Furnace, pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree count of theft of drugs. Judge Charles Cooper sentenced the woman to 10 months in prison.
• Ryan Edwards, 41, of 91 Township Road 1090, Proctorville, was arraigned on a second-degree count of burglary, to which he pleaded not guilty. Cooper set bond at $85,000 and set a pretrial for Oct. 5.
• Lewis Lambert, 43, of 236 County Road 3, Proctorville, was arraigned on a fifth-degree count of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug abuse instruments and resisting arrest, to which he pleaded not guilty. Cooper set bond at $10,000 cash or surety and a pretrial was set for Oct. 12.
• Jackie Jackson, 38, of 979 Township Road 153, Waterloo, was arraigned on a third-degree count of complicity to escape and a fifth-degree count of obstruction of justice, to which she pleaded not guilty. Cooper set bond at $25,000 cash or surety plus OR. A pretrial was set for Oct. 12.
• Ronald Weaver, 41, of 3244 Frederick Road, Wheelersburg, was arraigned on a fifth-degree count of possession of drugs, to which he pleaded not guilty. Cooper set bond at $15,000 cash or surety and set a pretrial for Oct. 12.
• William Holley III, 23, of 14611 State Route 7, Proctorville, was arraigned on fourth-degree receiving stolen property, two third-degree counts of harassment by an inmate and two fourth-degree counts of assault on a peace office to which he pleaded not guilty. Cooper set bond at $25,000 cash or surety and set a pretrial for Oct. 12.
• Steven Triplett, 38, of 622 N. Fourth St., Ironton, admitted CCS violations and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
• A case against Clarence Blair Jr., 37, of South Point, who was charged with possession of drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, was dismissed.
