RUSSELL, Ky. — Bon Secours Kentucky Health System will host the 2016 Women’s Health Update. The free event will take place Friday, Oct. 7 at Bellefonte Centre, 1000 Ashland Drive, on the campus of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH).

The event takes place from 8 a.m-2 p.m. and is open to all medical professionals. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
Conference lecture topics include: advances in female pelvic surgery, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and breast cancer. Scheduled speakers include:

• Dr. Erin Crosby, assistant professor and assistant program director for research, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, division of female pelvic medicine reconstructive surgery, Albany Medical College

• Dr. Nadim Bou Zgheib, assistant professor, director of gynecologic oncology division at Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine

• Dr. Rachel Miller, associate professor division of gynecologic oncology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Kentucky

• Dr. Christopher DiSimone, associate professor, director of robotic surgery, division of gynecologic oncology department of obstetrics and gynecology, University of Kentucky Medical Center, UK Markey Cancer Center

• Dr. Anna Murillo, hematologist medical oncologist, OLBH
