Domestic violence — A private drive off County Road 144, South Point, Aug. 28, man alleged his father assaulted him; negative contact with suspect.
Theft, attempt to commit an offense — 70 block Township Road 1306, Proctorville, Aug. 23, fraudulent charges made to credit card.
Breaking and entering, theft — 1000 block County Road 65, Proctorville, Aug. 23, miscellaneous tools taken from garage; suspects named.
Burglary — A private drive off County Road 26, Pedro, Aug. 26, firearm taken from residence.
Domestic violence — A private drive off 302, South Point, Aug. 26, woman alleged being assaulted by her husband.
Possession of controlled substance — 2400 block County Road 26, Ironton, Aug. 26, high school student allegedly in possession of marijuana on school grounds; cited to court and suspended for 10 days.
Theft — Wal-Mart, South Point, Aug. 27, suspect allegedly took items without paying; Russell Demotsis, 46, listed as homeless, arrested.
Theft — Wal-Mart, South Point, Aug. 28, two women allegedly stealing items in store; Amber Ratcliff, 32, of 1803 William St., Portsmouth, and Amber Shope, 29, of 176 Private Drive 8649, Pedro, cited to court.
Theft — Dollar General, Proctorville, Aug. 27, woman allegedly took items from store without paying; Anna Dillon, 43, of 154 Township Road 1110, arrested.
Theft — Wal-Mart, South Point, Aug. 27, woman allegedly took items without paying; Crystal McMillian, 26, of 308 Second St. W., South Point, arrested.
Domestic violence — 60 block State Route 217, Kitts Hill, Aug. 28, woman alleged boyfriend grabbed her phone from her and grabbed her by the neck; Chester Daniels, 49, of the same address, arrested.
Disorderly conduct, inducing panic, obstructing official business, warrants for arrest — South Seventh Street, Ironton, Aug. 26, man and woman arrested after woman’s child was sent to school office for disciplinary action; Scott Gillispie, 37, and Tanya Ackerson, 36, of 2201 N. Sixth St., Ironton, arrested.
