Burglary — 50 block Township Road 1039, Chesapeake, Aug. 19, $200 cash stolen from motel room; suspect named.
Domestic violence — 2300 block County Road 4, Pedro, Aug. 21, woman alleged her boyfriend grabbed her by the neck, bit her and threw water on her; suspected named.
Breaking and entering — 200 block Township Road 1430, South Point, Aug. 20, air unit taken from window of apartment, box of clothing taken from inside.
Possession of schedule I, II narcotics — U.S. 52 at Solida Road, South Point, Aug. 19, deputy initiated traffic stop for alleged improper registration; K-9 allegedly indicated drugs in the vehicle; driver allegedly admitted to having two oxycodone pills in her purse; Crystal Grenier, 32, of 622 County Road 56, Chesapeake, cited to court.
Possession of schedule III, IV drugs, possession of drugs abuse instruments, resisting arrest, drug abuse — 200 block County Road 3, Proctorville, Aug. 21, deputy responding to possible drug overdose; EMS advised they used Narcan to revive the suspect; needle and spoon and vial found in sink; suspect became angry when told he had warrants and would remain in custody; tried to go back into his residence and allegedly resisted arrest by struggling with deputy; Lewis Lambert, 43, of 236 County Road 3, Proctorville, arrested.
Trafficking in marijuana — 18000 block State Route 243, Chesapeake, Aug. 18, deputy initiated traffic stop for alleged marked lanes violations; deputy alleged smelling strong odor of marijuana; driver allegedly surrendered a bag of marijuana; Jalen White, 20, of 703 County Road 68, Chesapeake, cited to court.
Theft — A private drive off County Road 60, South Point, Aug. 17, two pool cues taken from detached garage.
Domestic violence — 100 block Township Road 1117, Ironton, Aug. 21, woman alleged boyfriend shoved her causing her to hit her face on door; Michael Holmes, 30, of 2020 N. Second S., Ironton, arrested.
Theft — 80 block Township Road 618, South Point, Aug. 18, jewelry, tablets, cell phone, cameras taken from residence.
Grand theft — 2900 block County Road 18, South Point, Aug. 12, firearm taken from residence.
Theft — Valvoline Express, Proctorville, Aug. 16, employee allegedly stealing money from business.
Theft — 600 block County Road 12, Proctorville, Aug. 16, push mower taken from back yard.
Endangering children — 1100 block County Road 137, South Point, Aug. 16, witness allegedly video recorded neighbor yelling at and hitting 10-year-old boy with a belt as he tried to mow the lawn; Andrew Hatten, 43, of the same address, arrested.
