Justice keys Ironton girls’ tennis win

Aleigha Justice got off to a good start and it helped get the Ironton Lady Fighting off and swinging.

Justice began her quest for a second straight unbeaten regular season on Thursday against the Portsmouth Lady Trojans with a 6-0, 6-0 victory as the No. 1 singles player

Ironton won the match 3-0 as No. 2 singles playeer Kara Spencer and No. 3 singles hitter Holly Bruce also posted wins.

The doubles team of Rachel Sanders and Sophia Caines and the duo Savannah Friend and Sydney Webb both lost.

Ironton visits Lucasville Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
