Raymond Wilson

April 26, 1960 — July 23, 2016

Raymond Eugene Wilson, 56, of Cincinnati, formerly of Lawrence County, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. He was born April 26, 1960, in Ironton.

He is survived by his mother Hilda Lightner Jackson and her husband Guy Jackson, of Newark; his father Leonard “Gene”Wilson and his wife Trilby Wilson, of Paintsville, Kentucky; one brother Dennis Wilson, of Ironton; one sister Audra Janene Fox and her husband Eddie, of Milton, Kentucky; one sister Malynda “Mendy” Blakeman and her husband Charles Blakeman, of Pedro; nephews Marcus Stamper and wife Amber; nephew Mitchell Stamper and his wife Jessica; three nieces; two nephews; two grandchildren; and two sons Raymond Eugene Wilson, Jr, of Georgia and Jesse Wilson, of Lineville.

He was saved and baptized and a member of Tri-State Worship Center in South Point.  He also served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hanging Rock Cemetery with pastor Terry Wagner officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to the charity of one’s choice.  Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville is in charge of arrangements. Deloris Craig

Deloris J. Craig, 77, of Ironton, died Monday, July 25, 2016, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with the Rev. Darrell Fowler officiating.

Donald Henson

Donald Goog Henson, 77, of Chesapeake, died Wednesday July 27, 2016, at Arbors at Gallipolis, in Gallipolis. He is survived by sister, Jennifer Edwards, of Florida. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville.

 

Rose Whalen

Rose Marie Jarrell Whalen, 85, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at her residence.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Monday at Ohio Valley Memorial Garden in Gallipolis with the Rev. Johnny Riley and David Daniels officiating.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Saturday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods.

 

Samuel Eldridge

Samuel Edward Eldridge, 45, of Scioto County, died Wednesday July 27, 2016. Arrangements are pending at Brown Funeral Chapel.
